Recording programs off sky+?

Question

I want to record a program from my sky+ planner onto a DVD but it is a more than 2 hours (its just under 3) How could i do this using a dvd shrinker, without my laptop (i know i could also use video cassette, but i don't really like these)

We have Sky+ and a Dvd rewrite So are able to record dvd's Longer than 2 hours.

Before you get 'busy', write to the Mechanical Copyright Protection Society, the Performing Rights Society, British Phonographic Industries, SACEM, ASCAP, GEMA, etc., and, try to find out where you stand, as to the possibility of copyright infringement ("performing" rights, and, "mechanical" rights 'wise.)
