Recording studio,,synth for amature?

ok so hi

im in love with techno//electronic//dance//etc music

and i rilly want to make that kinda music,,i have some old sonic foundry acid music thing and that doesnt cut it,,and my keyboard doesnt have the coolest voices

so are there any recording type things or synthesizers for effects that are under $300 bucks? im 14 and cant spend too much money so yeah

Synthesizers don't have to cost anything at all and recording studios don't have to take up any more space than what fits on your lap - with programs like Reason 4, Ableton Live, and FL Studio, virtual synthesizers that you can download for free (but not exactly legally, wink wink nudge nudge) work EXACTLY the same way as analog synths, and come with their own recording, arranging, composing, and mastering software most of the time.

    I learned how to program, use, and find the best voices on some of the best known synthesizers (Korg, DX-7, various late 80s Casio models) through Ableton Live.

    My point - don't go throwing money at synthesizers when the exact same thing could be available on your computer. Download Ableton and look for synthesizer plug-ins, recording software, and all the assorted software you would want - all you need now is the musical talent. lol
