Recording tv shows on dvds?

My husband is deployed in Iraq and wants me to record the Cowboys games on DVD. Is there any way to do that?

  2. There are a couple of ways to do this.

    You could get a DVD Recorder, which you may or may not already have.

    You can also get a TV tuner for your computer if you have windows media center, and use that to record the show, and then burn it to a dvd.

    Dunno how much a DVD Recorder would cost you (probably over $100), but a TV tuner would cost you about $75 at Best Buy. Just make sure you get the external (USB) tuner rather than the internal, which would require you to open the case of your computer.

  3. You can buy a DVD player that is able to record (http://www.walmart.com/search/browse-ng.... - and then buy blank DVDs. I had the same problems, but it's quite easy. Just remember to finalize the disk (they should give you instructions). Good luck, and your family is in my prayers!
