Recording tv shows on dvds?

My husband is deployed in Iraq and wants me to record the Cowboys games on DVD. Is there any way to do that?

There are a couple of ways to do this.

You could get a DVD Recorder, which you may or may not already have.

You can also get a TV tuner for your computer if you have windows media center, and use that to record the show, and then burn it to a dvd.

Dunno how much a DVD Recorder would cost you (probably over $100), but a TV tuner would cost you about $75 at Best Buy. Just make sure you get the external (USB) tuner rather than the internal, which would require you to open the case of your computer.

You can buy a DVD player that is able to record (http://www.walmart.com/search/browse-ng.... - and then buy blank DVDs. I had the same problems, but it's quite easy. Just remember to finalize the disk (they should give you instructions). Good luck, and your family is in my prayers!
