Recording with camstudio and putting it on youtube,why is that copyright?

i recorded t.v shows using camstudio. but a few days later, it was copyright infregement. why was it copyright if i recorded them with camstudio?

its not camstudio but its the tv show you recorded thats copyrighted!!
