champion australian jockey,Robert thompson, is about to become australias most winningest jockey!

roby has 3315 wins 1 short to equal the australian record, and with 5 rides booked for tommorow he is poised to take the record!

so my question is who holds the world record for most wins by a jockey ever? and what is the record?

Yea, Robert Thompson, he is now on 3315 winners and just one away from the record of all time Australian riding record, which was set by Jack Thompson.  personally i think thats pretty amazing. good on him!!  although, all these yrs of racing he must be almost ready to retire so why not on a high.

EDIT: to the American twits who answered this question, we are not talking about your jockeys here are we....were talking about an aussie jockey so why in the h**l would u think that your answers are relavant? good on the jockeys u mentioned....but Like i said we are discussing aussie racing so why bother wasting your time answering when all you want to do is say "well American jockey blah blah blah!"
