My little 12-year-old brother watched Saw I, II, & III with his friends...and ever since he's been following me around - no matter what I explain to him about the actors or the fake blood, he's still terrified, sleepless and jumpy. How can I help him recover quickly?

  1. IF you can find some way or source of the making of saw so he can see how it was made and that it really is just a movie. If this affected him this way. DO NOT let him see any more of this type of movie.

  2. you cant its just something that u slowly get over.

  3. aw i remember my first scary movie... signs :s haha.

the best idea is to show him other (NOT scary! lol!) movies that these actors are in. when my sister saw the grudge and was scared, i found out that sarah michelle gellar was also in s****. doo! she saw it and wasn't scared at all, i think it helped her realise the "fakeness".

maybe show him other stuff that proves it not real at all, like the actors from the movie at award shows, proving it's just a job for them. hope he's ok and this helped!

  4. I guess the only thing you can do now is to wait until it passes. Let him watch some parodies of that movie - lots on youtube, make him laugh and realize that it's all fake and there's nothing to be scared about. Hope I helped:)

  5. Make fun of the movies. Like adding dialog and mono logs, etc. Find a funny reason why people would be sawing each other. Assure him that if a deranged person came looking for him, you would step in and protect him. But I guess just be there for him and tell him not watch anymore until he knows he can handle it.

  6. You can't. He'll get it over it soon enough.
