Recovering GAMERTAG on Xbox live?

I have xbox live on my NORMAL xbox, and it ends the 20th. I have a 360 now, and have a code for live for that. It says I can recover a gamertag. Does that mean I can use my normal xbox live gamertag on my 360? please dont just say yes or no, be spacific

yea you can recover it, just put in ur email adress and password and gamertag and you should be good

Yes you can recover your old xbox gamer tag and put it on the 360. I called the Microsoft or xbox hot line, call them and give them the credit card information you used to buy the orginal xbox gamertag, and it can be renewed through them and they will put it on the 360.

Oh the phone number I almost forgot, i dont remember the number but it should be on the box for when you bought the 360, or google it or visit www.xbox.com for the website.
