I am a recovering anoreixic...i lost about 20 pounds over the course of a few months and over the summer (since this past month actually) I've gained 10 pounds? I was wondering if that is ok/healthy? I've been trying to eat healthy but ive actaulyl just been pigging out a lot and eating whatever I want recently...and I've also been exercising a lot too so could the weight be some muscle?

  1. well, you were anorexic so your body is probably trying to get as many nutrients as it can...you left your body without energy for a while so it's sort of desperate...you'll gain some weight because remember that your metabolism slowed so much during that time when you didn't eat...so, right now, your body is preparing itself for another starvation period and it doesn't want to burn any calories...just keep eating healthily and exercising...that way, your body will get accustomed to constantly receive food and your metabolism will start to increase...just remember, dont skip any meals or stay hungry...your body has to understand you're not going anorexic again!!! and i trust that you'll not return to that...
