  1. most companys will ask you to do Prove It test's for word, excel, powerpoint and microsoft office these will enable them to see how much you know so they can put you forward for the right jobs. You may be asked to do a typing test as well to see how words you can type per min.

always take an upto date CV , passport and NI number.

they will write to your previous employers for referances .

wear a suit ( dark ) and make sure you have clean nails and  your hair and make up is done as this sets the right impression.

    smile and be confident

    good luck

  3. Hello,

(ANS) Job Agencies vary enormously across the country and from city to city, it also depends upon the size of the agency. Some agencies are just literally one man bands, others are partnerships, others are part of large corporate chains.

**recruitment agencies also vary a good deal depending upon the industry or according to the type of employment.

**Some recruitment agencies have more formal interviewing methods and some are very very informal. For example:- if you are a computer support consultant seeking work I would expect quite a high standard of dress & a formal interview situation and would expect to take a formal CV with me.

However, if you are white van man looking for some contract driving work you might only turn up in your jeans & fleece & your driving license.

**Registration is a formal requirement and means you have joined or been put on that companies books and therefore they will actively been seeking to get you into employment ASAP!! NOTE: recruitment agencies only get paid there commission if they manage to get you a job or placed into a temporary contract (depending upon the kind of work involved).

**You can expect to be asked if you have a CV, and any references from past employment, asked about past employment history. Your present status as far as starting any new work.

**Are you fit & healthy or do you have any disabilities or health problems that would hinder you working, etc.

    Hope that helps?

    Good luck regards Ivan.
