Recurring Nightmares?

I get these nightmares most nights of my older brother. Most of them go the same way, him trying to kill/hurt/chase me, my mother present in most of these situations. So last night it went something like my mother was away for a week and then my brother and I went to the DVD shop where he was hitting little children, then my mother came along. Then we were on some stairs going somewhere and my mother said something that got my brother angry so I grabbed my mother and started running into the crowd, my brother followed us, he wanted to kill me. Then my mother asked why I ran and didn’t see how angry my brother was. What does this dream mean?

  1. your brother might hurt you in the near future and your mother can't help so try being nice to him

  2. Ok first of you do know don't you?

Ok to dream about a brother, To see your brother in your dream, may symbolize some aspect of your relationship with him.

In this case you don't have a relationship and from what I'm getting it's his fault more than yours.

The killing or him wanting to kill or hurt you can mean that he is looking ot get rid of you (ie..your relationship with him) even though you don't really have one he's looking ot free himself of one period.

You're running away because 1. you don't want to be arund your brother probably in real life as much as yoru dream and in your dream there is a part of you that doens't want him to kill you becuase if he does that would be it. You two would never have hope of a relatinoship.

Killing represents the end, killing off somethign, or getting rid of something. He's trying to get rid of the relationship but you subconciously would liek to have a relationship if things were different.

And mom simply means that you are looking for guidance and protection in this (mom's usually offer that) however, buecause your mom isn't seeing the problem or doesn't really offer the protection you need it could mean that there is just nothing you can do hun.

If he's choosing to forgo having a good relationship with you then that's his loss.

I'm getting the feeling that he doens't really have a relationship with your family as a whole either, however, perhaps your parents stick up for him and don't quite realise his faults here.

I don't knwo it's hard to interpret without talking to you further but I hope that helps..

  3. You probably already know.

Don't share this with us, share with your brother and mother. Do you have problems communicating with your brother, possibly unresolved issues that you need closure?

  4. I think you might have issues with your brother that need to be solved. Maybe inside you think he is a bad person
