There are lots of internet banks which offers automatic saving every month or every 2 weeks.I use fnbodirect.com and ING direct.Both are paying more interest then local bank.

Yes. This is one of the best ways of saving money. It not only  goes out to be saved every month, but also without any extra procedures like opening a new account every month. Not only that, banks give a better interest rate on RDs.

I cannot understand why US banks do not offer this on a regular basis? Just one bank, ING Direct offers this under the name Automatic Savings Plan, within a savings account. This is good. But they do not give a better interest rate just for the ASP.
