Recurring nightmare?

I've been having this nightmare since i was a little girl.

I start out in a completely white room and lots of men without faces. They seem like black shadows. They notice me and start coming closer and shouting abuse at me. They completely surround me in a circle and either i start to shrink or they grow really big. Suddenly 1 picks me up in the palm of his hand and lift me up in the air. When i'm up above his head he turns his hand over and i fall. Then i wake up.

Can you help me figure out what this means?

  1. I'm not sure what it means.

I've had a recurring nightmare before.

It kept starting out as me standing in the driveway of my old horse riding school, which is in the countryside.

Opposite me was a graveyard, with the whole world buried there.

All of a sudden, it would say START, then I would start running, always turning left. All these zombies would arise from their graves and ghouls would be jumping out of trees at me.

As soon as I was caught, it would GAME OVER. :S I was having this dream almost everynight for over a week.

  2. I used to have this recurring nightmare where I used to constantly see burning busses - old route masters, in fact.  Don't ask me what the h**l my subconsciousness was going through at the time (I've tried asking, but all I get is the answer phone).  I can only surmise it's down to my general dislike of London transport.

  3. could represent a fear of (or experience with) lots of figures of higher power. maybe people with authority over you, people who can control  your life. and you seem to be afraid of them taking control and using it to hurt you. it sounds mostly just like a fear of being picked on in one way or another, like a loss of control and power.

  4. I've had returning nightmares since I was little, now I am 40.

What does the dream mean to you? That is what is most important.

If it truly means nothing, it will go away. If you feel there is meaning behind it look into a dream book and seek out symbols such as being inside the circle or an all white room, etc. and piece it together that way. Remember, it could be nothing or a symbolism of something, whether major or minor. But again, what it means to you is what is most important. When does the dream occur? Are you overwhelmed or stressed about something? Something going on at home or in a work environment or school? Piece it all together if it truly has your attention research it and lay this "baby" to rest!

    good luck!

  5. Nightmares don't always mean something, I had this nightmare when I was a little kid about gypsies (yeah i have no clue why) and i wasnt even afraid of gypsies or anything.
