It depends on many other facts of the dream.  Is it you who is attempting suicide or another? Remember death dreams do not necessarily mean physical death but the end of a situation.  It can mean that you are in a real life situation that needs to end and you feel as if you have no way out.  Or if you are mentally depressed and are having suicidal thoughts in your waking life it could mean that you need to seek therapy.  Good luck
