Recurring themes- Toilets, fishes and shopping?

for the past few months, ive been having dreams with recurring themes, with different places and faces (strangers), (most interestingly) some dreams are with series of sequels. the dreams continues seamlessly, could be days or weeks apart; but from one dream to another, i can always find my way around the unfamiliar locations, and like ive known the people and places all my life, when in actual, i dont know where i was and who they were.

so....what are these dreams supposed to imply/ mean?

the recurring themes-

1- toilets. i always happen to find myself in a communal/ public toilet with strangers. the toilet interiors are from beautiful and spanking brand new with state of the art facilities to broken, run down, 70s tiles. the only common thing between them is that would always be always some vacant cubicles with overflowing toilets, while some occupied and some remaining, dirty and unflushed.

  1. This is a strange dream "mini-series" isn't it?

I think this represents your "online life" and internet habits.

The public restrooms represent places like Yahoo Answers, chat rooms, message boards, forums & other websites where you discuss personal, private matters with total strangers!   Some people are "overflowing", some have a lot of "p**p" to share (and you think they really go to far?  How rude not to flush or at least edit some of the disgusting details!   The various states of the toilets represent the level of professionalism and design that goes into the various sites you visit.  The toilets don't actually represent the people, but rather the stories they tell, their opinions, information shared, etc.

The strangers represent the people you talk to online.

Fish may represent hidden secrets, memories brought out to examine.  Water might be the subconscious mind, so the fish would be what "lives" and "dies" in the subconscious mind.  Some of these could represent memories that still "live" for you, still impact you emotionally.  Others are old issues you've resolved, but that might be of interest of help to others you chat with online.

The shopping represents visiting various venues online.  Window shopping represents the screen.  Deciding to buy or not to buy represents whether or not you embrace the message or answer presented to you in that venue.  You may go away and think about it before deciding to "buy it" or accept it personally.  Going away saying, "I'll check out that side later" is when you mark a site and come back and visit it later.

Sometimes, it's hard to stop and get off line when you know you should.  Do you need all that stuff you read and expore online.  Probably not.  Some of it is a pure waste of time!  Other things are valuable.  You're like me... an information junkie, and you're afraid you're going to miss the VERY THING you never knew you were looking for! ;- D  Just like a shop-o-holic looking for a deal, you're online, looking for an information, revelation thrill.

Pray for wisdom!  We have the world at our fingertips, the good, the bad and the ugly.

    God bless you,

    Fairelight
