Recurring twitch in my right eye. Becoming irritating.

There are plenty of other cases of this on Yahoo Answers, but there seems to be a lot of possible causes so If I tell you guys the specifics of my problem maybe we can narrow down the list and find a single cause for this nuisance?

I'm not a stressed person, I'm in a temporary situation in which I find myself with very few responsibilities. I'm quite relaxed. I drink one or two coffees in a day, but I've done that for a long time, and the condition only arose very recently. (So I don't think it's stress or caffeine which is causing the problem.) I'm getting plenty of sleep, admittedly, not very structured sleep, but I'm working on trying to get into a decent sleep routine. I have perfect vision, and I haven't done anything unusual that might have damaged my eye.

I simply cannot find any logical reason for this problem.

Please tell me it's just random, and I'm not going to go blind or anything.

  1. Happens sometimes to me - stress related.

  2. It's probably nothing. It can happen if you read a lot, if you're on the internet for long periods of time, or if you play video games for hours. If this sounds like you take a break every hour from doing what you're doing and it should stop.
