(I'm from the country, So, I don't know! I visit my city friend and) I said "Plastic shopping bags can be recycled.. " they have a # on them now? So? I can put clean empty sandwich bags in the recycle bin???* yes????even clean Styrofoam from take out dinner has a # on it? It looks rather trashy in the recycle bin!!! Is this OK? I don't want my friend to get into trouble with her Landlord! (I would put the really slimy yucky foody dirty peanut butter covered stuff in the trash bin? or can I recycle dirty food covered take out containers?)
*As long as my mom doesn't catch me, & wash & reuse the silly things on her drying rack! True recycler that she is! (Old hippie chic!) It's true! pic here!
