Recycle Cd's?

Is it as important to recycle cd's than paper?

Should we be worried about recyclng cd's? Do u

I save them to hang in my garden it helps keep the birds from my tomatoes and other produce I am growing  I tie them on fishing line and hang so that they twirl in the wind.

Well, just recycle whatever you can. It will definitely help the Earth. We shouldn't be worried about recycling Cd's. Even though I've never heard about it, I think it's a great idea!

It's very important to reuse and recycle CDs because they add to our waste problem. The more waste we throw away, the more polluted our environment becomes because the landfills are already overcrowded.

Personally, I give them to my grandmother and she knits on the outsides of them, basically turning them into coasters for cups.

It also doubles as a convenient cat toy if you let one of the strings from the knit hang off of it.

i work at a boys & girls club (in manhattan, ks) and i know that we use cds for crafts and for science experiments.  in fact, if you are looking to get rid of some, i need about 50 as soon as possible!  :)  you can email me if you are trying to unload some.

I wish I could recycle CDs - I hate getting AOL disks, or my son scratches one of my music CDs or something, and I have to throw it away.  There's only so many shiny mobiles or coasters you can make with the things, and they do still look like CDs...
