Question:

Recycle bin replaced one of my folders?

I recently downgraded from Vista to Xp and so I had all of my personal files on an external hard drive. After the format and the new boot, I installed everything again and decided to listen to some music. My music folder on the external hard drive had somehow become a mirror of the recycle bin on the desktop! I did a search for the files, and they are still present in the folder, however it still appears as a recycle bin icon and behaves as such. What can I do?
