  1. Here is one of the latest progams in need of support, EPA dosen't even have a place for this iniative yet

Is California set to lead another National Industrial Water Conservation Program. CA. Green Building and LEED compliance programs are set to blend the color Blue in the mix, and what better way than their Architectural (Paint) and Coatings business partners to do it.  The proposed use of recycled water replacing the commonly used Drinking water in this Industry, paints a vivid picture of their collaborative environmental and economic impact to sustainability.

CA. is of the largest consumers of Paint and Coatings in the Nation and, home to the nation’s largest coatings manufacturers, distributors and retailers.  CA. uses an estimated 125 million gallons of paint a year to protect, preserve and beautify homes, buildings and landscapes, while exporting about another 100 Million gallons.   This industry depletes well over 100 million gallons a year of CA’s most valuable natural resources, Drinking Water.  With CA. water supply dwindling at a rate it simply cannot replace or sustain, this is one of the most innovative and collaborative approaches to sustainability we can have, right now, we are merely robbing Peter to pay Paul.

This $20 billion a year industry is a major part of the Green Building materials, one that has used Drinking Water to make their paint and coatings all along.  CA. (and national) air quality changes forced this industries conversion from solvent to water based products; hence, the use of drinking water has grown exponentially. Every gallon of water based Paint is about 1/3 Drinking water, another 5% may be used to process.

The conversion is almost as simple as replacing one water source with another.

The purple pipeline for recycled water is vast becoming readily available to many metropolitan and developing areas.  Visit and support these efforts with Edward Mugits  http://www.vitabrewcoffee,com/water.html

  2. Your focused on first two R's reduce and re-use if your talking about saving energy. Recycling saves natural resources it doesn't save that much energy.

Consider doing news release a few centuries in the future when some land fill is discovered by anthropologist, and what they say primitive man in 1980's did.

  3. Renewable fuel, like Brazil has sugar cane to operate automobiles.  Start a free-cycle in your town, where people post for wanted or offered no longer wanted things around their house.

  4. Open the door to your dishwasher once it has completed rinse cycle. Let your dishes air drive. You can save a great deal of electricity over time by not using the dishwasher dryer function.

  5. Cultured trees that grows fast. Use wood burning furnace to heat homes.

  6. Why not just wash them by hand. Oh thats right cuz we are lazy humans.

  7. To Onibaba an energy star dishwasher uses less water than washing dishes by hand.

Think about the things in your home that go to waste and end up in a landfill.  What could be done about it?  Almost everything can be recycled or reused if you think about it.  But there are a few things that can't be.  I would think about the schools and how much trash comes out of a school.  What could be done there?  Composting?  Paper recycling?

  8. Alright, Nab some magnet-wire, and make large loops, this will use the laws of inductive coupling to pick up stray EM radiation that matches the frequency of the coils. Add a diode to one end with the polarity facing away from the coils. Add a Lith-ion battery to collect the electricity.

This is just the START of the idea, in no way would this schematic just WORK. If you honestly want/need this; let me know and I'll design it out for you, I left out key parts purposefully. This recycles the excess energy the powerlines spill out every second of every day. Please consider this with caution, as this schematic could build up a considerable amount of energy (possibly deadly amounts; enough to power a computer and so forth).
