Recycle phones.... anything else????

you know you can recycle old phones and get cash for them like on envirophone.co.uk, is there anything else you can do this with e.g books etc.????

tried ringing the council to 'arrange' GREEN disposal of some household rubbish, they didnt wanna help me in the least!! disabled/benefits £35-£60 to take it away...

Ink cartridges... You can either get them refilled for more than HALF the price... or u can sometimes make some money off of them... depending on the place you go....

Where there's green, there's a green way. s***w the corporate "save the earth" campaign, if money changes our environment then why is China still the biggest unquestioned, unsanctioned CO2 offender? Why should I pay for their problem? Soon there will be a tax on personal perspective no doubt...

Not for money, but Freecycle is wonderful for giving and receiving stuff.

You can recycle ink cartridges from your printer in some computer shops I think.
