Me and my sister have been having this debate for a while now, can you recycle tissue that you have used to dry your hands after using the tap.

  1. You're only supposed to put dry paper in the recycling bin, but of course it will dry anyway given time! Also you can use wet paper in a logmaker, you have to saturate the paper anyway to use these and the paper bricks they make can burn for several hours! Definately a good purchase if you have a solid fuel fire or woodburner, can save you a lot of money on fuel as well, but takes a bit of elbow grease!

  2. put it in the bin. if they take it, yes.

    if they dont, no.

  3. I don't think you can recycle it, but you can reuse it by letting it dry and reusing it again. You might be able to use it up to three times or more. I'd however simply switch to bath towels. Besides it will save you much more money in the end.

If you are talking about restaurants, etc, sometimes I just let them air dry or take the towel with me and use it to blow my nose later then pitch it.

  4. Well it is paper, so why not?

  5. Don't think so.

  6. Well, in the nursery school I used to work in, we recycled the paper towels the kids used to dry their hands with the normal paper recycling

  7. Probably Not.

  8. Yes, put it in with the paper.  Alternatively you can put it in the compost bin if you have one

  9. i actually do quite the same thing here. it isn't necessarily dirty. if your just going to use it to dry your hands or have just used it to dry ur hands, i think you can. the tissue acts like a rag, it dries up eventually anyway. :)
