Recycling Paper?

Question

What do i do with my recyclable paper?

Is colored paper recyclable?

How could i get my high school involved with this?

Any links or suggestions would be great.

Everything is recyclable...you just have to find a recycling center that will accept certain items, but your local recycling center should accept the basics like paper, newspaper, bottles, cans, cardboard, etc. My school just started recycling in January and so far we have recycled so much stuff that I couldn't even estimated it. It's good that you want your school to recycle, I'll tell you how it started at my school. I live in Kentucky and we have this association involved with the environment called PRIDE (Personal Responsibility In a Desirable Environment). PRIDE allows any school to have a PRIDE Club and grants them money each year usually around $4,000 to help the environment in any way possible. So we established a PRIDE Club and decided we wanted our school to go green and not just our school but our whole district. So starting this coming school year all schools in our district will recycle thanks to our club. The members in the club are responsible for pick up of the recyclables from all the classrooms, hallways, etc. and we take them to the recycle bin out back which is then picked up by our local recycling center. So maybe you can get a teacher to sponsor an Environmental Club and you all could start recycling too and maybe get donations from local businesses to buy containers, etc. to start a program. well yes it is recyclable hmmmmm i would talk 2 the princable and tell them about this idea and im not totaly sure my skool brings it so im not sure srry hope that help thoe bye!
