Recycling Water Bottles in AZ?

I was wondering if anyone knew of a place to recycle water bottles or aluminum cans in Phx or surrounding areas. Prefer Peoria - Glendale thanks.

recycle your waterbottles by "REFILLING" them. we have to get away from such a dependence on plastic.

build yourself a greenhouse with all your old bottles or a coldframe

Use them to barbecue hot dogs, that's recycling.

You should only refill normal grocery bought water bottles for a week or 2.  Your best bet is to not purchase them, but purchase better water bottles meant to last.  The cheap ones from the grocery store leech nasty things after a while.  A quick internet search (or discussion with a chemist) will confirm this.  While the bottling associations question this (what industry group would not), the other area of concern is microbes, etc. growing due to inefficient cleaning.  Since these bottles are shaped wierd, it is difficult to clean them.
