Recycling for money!?

Question

I know they pay for aluminum cans, but will recycling centers pay for any other materials (plastic, paper, etc)? My cousin told me they buy tin, but only like a few cents a ton so its not worth it.

I have also heard of places that will buy used clothing--and I don't mean consignment shops or those ones that buy kids or name brand clothing only... Does anyone know anything about that?

Thanks! I'm trying to make some quick money. My uncle just made almost 400 dollars selling aluminum cans and I already have a few bags full. LOL!

cans area great way to get money if you drink alot of pop. also if you know those who do most people will save them its less for them to throw away,

There are also places that will pay you for plastic water bottles and plastic soda bottles.  (at least in California!!)

Also metals can be recycled but there is a big problem because of that with some metal objects being stolen!

Well, my grandmom found some copper wires laying the street and she cashed it in for some money.  She also found this big tire and got 50$ off it.
