Recycling glass?

Where the heck can i recycle glass for that 5 cents it says delaware pays for you to recycle beer bottles? If anyone could help me find a list of these facilitie I would greatly appriciate it.

  1. Under Delaware's Beverage Container Law, stores must charge a 5 cents deposit on certain types of beverage containers. Those containers are marked with the state and the amount of the deposit you paid when you purchased the beverage.    If you return the empty container to the store, that five-cent deposit will be given back to you. The purpose of the deposit is to provide an incentive for people to return bottles to a store so they won't end up as trash or, worse yet, litter.

    For other glass containers that do not have a deposit, you can recycle them at the DSWA igloos or in the recycling containers if you have curbside pickup of your recyclables.  You won't receive any cash for that, though.

  2. My guess is that you need to return them to any store in Delaware that participates with the recycling. Considering the price of gas it may not be worth the trip unless you collect a lot of them. My sister lives in Delaware & I'll let you know what she says when she gets back to me.
