Recycling plastic bottles of water for the first time?

Question

I'm 15 and i just decided i wanted to start recycling to help out the environment, I have collected about 70 plastic bottles in the past month and i have absolutley no idea what so ever of what i should do.. my family doesnt have a recycling bin because we own a restraunt and just use their garbage can to put our trash in. haha i think thats illegal but yeahh anyways help! i'm clueless

how about taking them to your school they should have a place where you can recyce them.  Or any community center also has reclying bins.

search a recycling center near you and arrange for pick-up or drop-off. Sometimes they pay. Even better, to encourage your parents, find a non-profit company with a 501c3 status. This way you can claim tax credits for your donations.

Depends on where you live.  Most suburbs have government owned Community Centers complete with pools, gyms, ball-fields, and of, course, recycling centers.

Try Googling it, and see if there are any recycling collecting centers near you.

in some areas there is a deposit that can be received from these bottles and you can  take to a recycling/deposit centre in some states Wal Marts have automatic machines you can put them in but make sure the labels are intact that's how the machines know want amount and if the bottle is deposit able in Canada some provinces give deposits talk to your friends they may know, other than that look in the yellow pages for recycling centres and they could help you

if your in worcester co md. you can recycle @ the woc walmart, behind the montego bay shopping center or in front of superfresh at 94th street.

Some states has wal marts that you can take bottles and put it into some machine. Good Luck with this.

well maybe your resturant should recycle.

that would help ALOT

and most schools have recycling bins in their parking lots that are free for the public to but recyclable items in.

and you can also call your city and ask were to get recycle.

or even better you can start your own recycling program in your community and save alot of trees

There should be a deposit on them, just like carbonated refreshments.  What a waste of resources.
