Recycling problems?

what percentage the world recycles and what percentages of the uk recycles?

This question is to broad to answer like this. Recycle what?  Biodegradable materials, scrap metal, composting?

It also has a lot to do with how you look at it, looking from a very big perspective everything is being recycled into something else. That's the way nature works.

I recycle - in fact I wish I had shares in my local bottle bank, though that's another story..

Unfortunately, most of our recycled plastics and metals go to a landfill site called China at the moment.

In reality, very few of us actually recycle.
