Recycling steel rims??

how much would i get for recycling 16" steel rims? on average ??

Contact Action Metals in Richmond at [phone].  They purchase steel by the pound.  I had a very good experience with them recently recycling iron, steel and aluminum and I saw another fellow there recycling a single steel rim (so I know it's possible to bring such a small quantity).

Any kind of metal can be recycled.In fact if live in Wayne county area of Ohio I will pick up and haul away for you at no charge.It doesn't matter how small or big.

hi, there is a place in Marshfield right now that it offering about $375 per ton for car and truck rims. so whatever the rims weigh times not quite 19 cents per pound ($0.1875) would be what you would get for it.

I don't think many recyclers will bother with small quantities of plain steel.  They might have a bin to throw them in, scrap steel is sold by the ton not the pound.  

I think the price is about $350 per ton.
