Anyone know where to see the fireworks well, without having to go near downtown Columbus?

  1. Park your car, ride a COTA bus downtown and pick a spot near the river... it really is the best way to see the fireworks, unless you just stay home and watch them on TV.

    We used to sit near the main post office, but they've really developed that area... our favorite year was when we stayed in a downtown hotel and just walked back to our room after they were over. Most years, we park a car down earlier in the day, ride the COTA bus downtown and drive our car home...


  2. Its hard to say this year, since they are moving the launch site.  They used to set them off right by COSI but they are moving to the parking lot at Vet's Memorial for 08.  Berliner Park is always a good spot -- this should still work regardless of the move.
