Red Blinking light on my Blackberry 6280??

Question

I tried to set up my cell by placing in my Sim Card. I did and It had that hourglass sign, but then it froze and this red light keeps flashing. I tried reseting it but It wont reset and wont turn on all it does is just keeps flashing the red light. What does it mean?

The red light is your message notification light.

Remove the battery  to reboot.

With the BB 6280 on, remove the back, and remove the battery. Leave it out for 60 seconds, then put the battery back in and put the back on.
