Red/Blue flashing lights in upper left corner of my eye

What's wrong with me? Am I sick? It's happened 3 times tonight and I'm scared I'm going blind. It only happens in one eye, and I don't feel sick or anything. This is also the first time it's happene.

Are you seeing any increase in floaters or any other changes in your vision?  Those, along with flashing lights, can be signs of a serious problem such as a retinal detachment.  If the flashing stops and you experience no more problems then I wouldn't worry about it.  If it continues you should call your eye doctor and get checked out.
