Red Bull boss insists that his team will treat Webber and Vettel equally
The boss of the Formula 1 racing team, Red Bull Christian Horner and expressed his views and insisted that their drivers, Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel will be treated equally, as the Formula 1 racing season is about to end.
Currently, the Australian ace driver Mark Webber is leading the standings table and Webber’s teammate Vettel and Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso are fourteen points adrift from the leader. Now only three races are left for the season and all the drivers are giving
their best to end the season in a sensational way.
Christian Horner said that Red Bull team will treat both of its veteran riders equally, without giving preference to any of them.
The issue of favouritism in the Red Bull team has been capturing the headlines of the news, giving birth to numerous controversies. It is to be noticed that in Turkey Grand Prix, when the German veteran Vettel smashed his car into his teammate’s vehicle,
the team Red Bull seemed to be blaming Mark Webber for the happening when most of the racing and media critics were of the view that the mistake was from the German’s side.
The same thing happened at the British Grand Prix in July, when the 34-year-old Mark Webber seemed a little unhappy when his team took a new wing from his car in order to give it to Vettel.
All this favouritism has somehow helped Vettel, as he is now quite close to Webber in the standings table and the Red Bull team looks happy about the fact.
While expressing his views, Horner said that it is a very good chance for both of the Red Bull’s drivers to snatch the trophy for the season as both, Webber and Vettel are very close to each other by points. He added that it is fantastic that both the drivers
are performing best and showing the best results and the team will support and help them to do whatever they can to end the season in a marvellous manner.
The performance by the Red Bull team was truly remarkable at Suzuka, as both of its ace drivers finished the race at first and the second spot. Red Bull remained dominant throughout the race and recorded pole position and fastest lap as well.
Horner seems pretty confident for the next race at the Korean Grand Prix as well. The race at Yeongam circuit will be the first race ever to be held over the circuit. According to Christian Horner, the Korean Grand Prix track is going to be a tough challenge
for all the drivers.
While talking about the track of Korean Grand Prix, Horner said that the track has a lot of corners and it will be a very tough challenge for all the drivers. He added that we will try our level best to perform the way we are performing, and we are hoping
to give a strong challenge to the opponents.
On the other hand, the Spaniard superstar Fernando Alonso is keen to give his full for the remaining three races of the season. He has won two of last three races and has very strong chances of clutching the year’s title.
Alonso expressed his ambitions and said that the title is pretty open for the top five drivers and anything can happen. He added that the Korean Grand Prix can be decisive for some drivers, and he is looking forward to grasp the best result from it. Alonso
later added that the only driver who can face the bad luck is Mark Webber because he is leading the table for the other drivers; the battle is still on and they have to give it the best.
