Red Bull’s Christian Horner determined to keep Sebastian Vettel away from Ferrari
Red Bull team boss, Christian Horner once again dismissed all speculations regarding Sebastian Vettel’s intentions to switch to Ferrari.
He assured that the driver is happy with the team while the team is also eager to do all it can to keep him with it as long as it can.
Red Bull Racing bagged both, the Drivers’ and the Constructors’ titles last year while its driver, Vettel, claimed the first title of his career. After a very tough season-long campaign, the German snatched the title at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, becoming
the youngest world champion ever in the sport’s history.
Since his victory, there have been rumours in the media that the 23-year-old is planning to pack up from the Red Bull camp and move to the legendary team, Ferrari. Moreover, since his current contract with the team is also going to end with this season,
Vettel will be free to decide for his next team.
Amidst all these speculations, the Briton team boss assured the Red Bull fans that the driver has no intentions to switch his team. He explained that the driver’s interest to race for the red team (Ferrari), expressed earlier this year, only portrays his
"romantic" side.
The youngest team principal on the Formula 1 grid explained, "But just because he's romantic doesn't mean he's going to give up everything that we have built together. As long as we offer him the perfect car, he will stay here."
The team principal further stated that Red Bull still had a long way to go and agreed that Ferrari was the legend of the series, while they were still ‘regarded more as the cool team’ but Horner is certain that one day they will also rise to same glory.

On the other hand, the two-time World Champion, and Ferrari driver, Fernando Alonso commented on Vettel’s desire calling it 'natural'. According to the Spaniard, every driver in Formula 1 dreams to sit behind the Ferrari wheel, but only some have the courage
to actually say it.
