Red Bull's Mark Webber ready to backlash the roaring Ferrari driver
Red Bull's Mark Webber agrees that this part of the season makes every driver a bit puzzled. However, he denies being afraid of Fernando Alonso, who clearly has a better pace and form.
The Formula One caravan is preparing for its sixteenth race as the season heads for its closing rounds. Next weekend will mark the Japanese Grand Prix leaving only another three races or may be two more episodes of 2010 season behind.
The Korean Grand Prix still stays a mystery as the track is yet not completed and until its final inspection on 11th of October, teams are not sure how many more points they are left to play with.
The Australian driver admits that Ferrari was faster than they had previously anticipated at the Singapore Grand Prix. Alonso led the cars’ rally from the early laps of the race and his dominance continued till he saw the chequered flag.
Red Bull’s other driver, Sebastian Vettel pushed as hard as he could to pass over but the Spaniard kept him behind his tail.
Alonso has emerged after a gloomy mid season and has back lashed all his rivals. Starting with a controversial race win in Germany, the driver kept moving ahead in the points’ tally and has finally settled at second place in the charts.
No doubt the situation seems pretty threatening for his rivals as he conquered three of the last five tracks and is still showing more of his aggression and momentum with every passing race.
So far, he has a total of one hundred and ninety one points under his belt while the charts’ leader, Webber has bagged two hundred and two points in his last fifteen races. The McLaren driver, Lewis Hamilton has slipped down to third
place after walking out without a point in three of the last four races. Now, he has a total of one hundred and eighty two points, a single point more than Vettel of Red Bull, who stands behind the Briton. The fifth place of the Drivers’ Championship is currently
occupied by the other McLaren driver, Jenson Button, who holds one hundred and seventy seven points and is twenty five points adrift the apex of the tally.
Seeing the current situation of the charts, though it would be brave to make any predictions but with what had been visible on the track during the past few races, one can say that Alonso is the man to be watched carefully.

Webber vows to stay cool and calm and announces that he is only cautious but not scared of the Ferrari driver, yet one can smell more. For Alonso, this war for the title is not alien as he has gone through all the stress and pressure
offered by the closing of the season twice earlier too and he had been successful in winning the world Championship twice. While on the other hand, the 34 year old Red Bull driver is yet to discover the bitter and sweet flavors of this tug.
Now, as the squad heads for the next circus at Suzuka, the Australian seems pretty confident and optimistic. He was glad to proclaim,” But we did well at Suzuka last year and the points’ situation is pretty open. Anything can still
happen."
He continued telling, "It's nice that I have a little buffer at the top of the points right now and I am glad of that, but we still have to go out and give it all we've got.”
The Australian concluded saying, "I am sure we are going to be right there and giving it a go."
So, Suzuka is expected to be a hot and brutal arena where the high spirited gladiators are ready to serve with yet another sizzling episode of the 2010 season.
