Red Lobster menu question?

We are going to Red Lobster this Friday to cellebrate a relative's birthday. We had been having trouble finding somewhere with a good steak that was low cost (his request was a good steak). We heard it was a good resturaunt for a steak even though it mainly sticks to seafood (the birthday boy knows this but is willing to try anyways).

So I would like to know...

Are Red Lobster's steaks actually good?

While you might not want to give out private info. about yourself, in a question like yours, you should give the state and area that you live in.  I wouldn't go to Red Lobster for a steak but I wouldn't know what other place to go to either since I don't know if places I name would be just local to my area or maybe just not in your area.

Do you have "diners" where you live?  They don't have top grade food like a good restaurant but, they serve enough food for you to take home the left overs and probably eat it for the next day or two.  They have steaks on their menus, of course.

If I were you, I'd Google (or whatever -- yellow pages???) on the Internet to find listings for restaurants in your area.  Most show their menus and usually their price lists.  Wouldn't going to one of those be better than going to the Red Lobster for steak?

If you are going our for  a relatives birthday and he requested steak, why are you going to Red Lobster? You and your mom want seafood? Um forgive me but it isn't your birthday, find a steakhouse and bring the birthday person there. Try Charlie Browns, they are a chain and pretty good.

Well not every redlobsters have the same cook but ive had a steak from there before and it was pretty good...I really go there for the seafood though.

i agree with luvhnaj. it's HIS birthday, he WANTS steak! when it's your birthday you should go to red lobster, take him to a steakhouse. most seafood places don't have quality steaks, and the cooks don't know how to cook them correctly, they tend to overcook the steaks. for a properly cooked, quality steak take him to a steakhouse

Well in my perception they are very greaat tasting they are very juicy and soft, i enjoy the steak there, be sure to tell them the way you want it to be cooked, (medium rare, etc)

no, and beware of outback they are not too good either, see if you have a logans roadhouse in your area they have really good steak
