Red Maples?

I need to know if a red maple has a strong cell wall, and if it's vascular or not. ASAP! ASAP!

  1. Yes maples have cells with primary and secondary walls reinforced with cellulose microfibrils embedded in a matrix of pectins and hemicelluloses. However Acer rubrum is a fast-growing and shade-intolerant soft maple compared to A. nigrum and A. saccharum that are slow-growing and shade-tolerant hard maples. Soft maples have a lower density of fibers than hard maples.

    Maples, including Acer rubrum, are vascular plants.
