Question:

Red Riding Hood Costume Pattern.?

For halloween, I've decided to be Little Dead Riding Hood, and I need some help with what to wear. I'm not going for a 's**y' version, so I don't want high heels. I think it is a white top and red skirt witha white apron. Right? But What I really need help with is the hood. Does anyone know where I can find an adult pattern for a cloak/hood? Or if there is anywhere online. Thank you very much. ^_^

  1. well since you aren't going to be a s**y/seductive one you would probably end up having to make your own or putting your own clothes together and i would the route of a red and white plaid more like a checkered skirt if you could find one or a long flowy red one then just get a peasant looking shirt the shirt just needs to be white and then just get some black ballet flats you could get them at Walmart and you can go on halloween websites where they sell thing separately to where you can find each of your individual needs but i was really bored and couldn't go to sleep so i found each thing you need except a basket lol store stuff kept pulling up this took me a while to find all this :D

  2. Here is a red riding hood costume that isn't too s**y.

    http://www.celebrateexpress.com/celebrat...

  3. If what you want to try is to make it yourself, there are a few website youcan use that would be really useful, Burdastyle.com and threadbangers.com on burda you have to sign in to get acess to the patterns, but most of them are free and there are tons of how tos, so if your a novice at sewing it'll give you step by steps and you can ask questions, get advice everyone is always really helpful. good luck

  4. Visit your local fabric store or WalMart and look at the pattern books. Simplicity, Butterick and McCalls all have some kind of hooded cloak pattern in their costume section.
