Red Senor looking forward to shooting a dual through Betfred The Bonus King Handicap at Nottingham

Hosting the Class 4 Betfred The Bonus King Handicap over five furlongs and thirteen yards on Wednesday, 11th April is Nottingham. Taking part in the £4, 075 contest is a lineup of three-year-old thirteen runners.
Very few of the candidates have actually raced during 2012 thus the majority is to race their seasonal debut today. An entry with remarkable chances is Red Senor, Red Clubs’ three-year-old bay colt out of mare Belsay, as the lightly raced one has already
claimed his seasonal debut.
Red Senor was the 15/8 favourite winner of the Pots And Pans Median Auction Maiden Stakes on 28th March at Lingfield over five furlongs.
Riding with William Carson, Red Senor led the runner up of the race, Christopher Chua, by 2 ¾ lengths. Settling right behind the runner up was Samba Night.
The victory marks a highly encouraging start of the new season and makes his chance the strongest for the race today. The closing of the previous season had him finishing third as the 10/11 favourite of the E B F “Stimulation” Maiden Stakes on 28th
July 2011 at Ffos Las over six furlongs.
The race was taken away by Lunar Deity who had Continuity finishing the closest.
An entry who can turn out to be a potential threat for Red Senor is Lesotho, Excellent Art’s three-year-old grey filly out of mare Limpopo. She is also one of those entries who has already raced during the new season but was not as lucky as Red Senor and
had to compromise with the second score.
The 15/8 favourite missed the victory by 1 ¼ lengths in the Betdaq Mobile Apps Handicap which was won by Bookiesindexdotnet who was riding with Darren Edward Egan.
The favourite was led by Adam Kirby and finishing the race third was J. J. Leary.
She came out of the previous season as the 4/11 favourite victor of the British Stallion Studs Supporting British Racing E B F Maiden Stakes on 9th July at Hamilton over five furlongs.
Exiting impressively and then failing to make an impact through the seasonal debut, is all the more reason for Lesotho to target the second race of the season to bring her success.
