Red Sox fans- Are you sick of Manny being Manny? Read more?

Manny was timed at 6+ sec home to first last night. Is this the last straw? Or are you willing to put up with him dogging it for his great bat?

Joel you must be crazy if you think Manny isn't playing well. Watch clips from the first 2 games against the Angels. He was hitting .500 those 2 games with a couple doubles and homer.  I'm pretty sick of his off-field antics, and I was mad because he easily could have broken up that no-hitter if he ran, but my boy Dusty ended up breaking it up anyways.  I'm willing to put up with it because of his bat, but we're not going to sign a 4 year 100m deal when by the 4th year he'll be lucky to hit 20 HR's a season.  I don't want to get rid of him by the 31st- we need him to make the playoffs and win in the playoffs- but I'm fine getting rid of him at the end of the year as long as we pick up a great bat during the winter.  What we should focus on now is our bullpen. It's the weakest part of our team and if we pick up a great reliever, it will really help us out in sept and oct.

Edit: Jack has a great idea. I'd be 100% down for Hanley Ramirez. Hanley is young and just about as good as Manny, plus he'd be willing to play his heart out and he wouldn't be such a greedy sob.  If they gave him #24 then people could keep their Manny jerseys because they would have turned into Hanley jerseys too! lol. Only knowing our market they'd make him a different number so people would go out and buy new jerseys.

If I was a boston fan id wouldn't care his home to first time beacuse sometimes hitters turn around before they reach first base. people are just making it a big deal because it came soon after his coments about trade. but if they are tired i figure manny is better than a broken washing machine for tyler walker

If the Marlins will give us Hanley Ramirez and some prospects in a trade then it might be worth it.

It's this simple: he wants out of Boston and is willing to play like **** in order to get that done.
