I hope that he makes the deal worth it. I hope he helps the Dodgers keep up with the DBacks, but honestly, after the way he talked about the Red Sox, I don't care how well he does. I hope he does good, but if he doesn't, then it's not gonna bother me.

i hate that Manny left!

Whenever I think Red Sox I think David Ortiz, and Manny Ramirez.

I believe that he will do well, but I'd rather he do well on the Sox!

i dont know.....i am still in shock that this all happened....he really seemed to come back this season with a great attitude...its still weird that everything unraveled so quickly.....i do think torre will be good for manny but then again i thought francona was too!

You know, personally, I wish Manny success in his career, no matter where he plays.  Manny is an awesome player, and I do think it was time for him and the Red Soxs to seperate.  Manny wasn't Manny any more really and don't we all just want Manny to be just Manny?  I think the trade will be good for everyone involved!     Sorry to see you go, Manny, thanks for the memories, good luck with the Dodgers, and Hey Welcome to 'BAY',!

I don't really care how Manny plays in LA.  It was interesting how he, in the course of 24 hrs decided that he would like to play in LA for the rest of his career.  and how he had Boras tell the Dodgers that he would play the rest of the year without complaining as long as they promised to not pick up his option at the end of the year, but the Dodgers declined.  haha, Manny Being Manny, thankfully us sox fans don't have to deal with it anymore.
