Red Sox vs. Yankees?

Question

please, give me reasons why you like the team you like [Red Sox or Yankees].

Because I love watching baseball & just the sport in general. & I want some opinions. I, personally, really don't know all that much about them, & i'd like to know more. I know they are rivals. Please, don't bug me about not knowing much about them. :] haha I'd like to know a lot more, because right now, I like the Red Sox for certain reasons, but I don't know a whole lot about them or the Yankees. State some facts or something.

aside from watching Baseballand loving every minute of it. The Red Sox are my home team and you always root for your home team.

it will take a loooooong time to say why i loooooove the yankees.... but to make it short...

im a native new yorker and a 3rd generation yankee fan.... my parents met each other at the yankee stadium, so if it wasn't for the yankees i wouldnt be here now! in our family the NY Yankees isn't just a team but a religion!!!

Well im a Yankees fan but I live in  NY so you can't get me there. Well, I live in the Bronx. Most people like their local team.

I grew up in Manhattan and was lucky enough to choose between the Yankees and the Mets. I was drawn to the Yankees because of their history and the great teams that have passed through the house that ruth built.

Also, in baseball, as opposed to other areas of life, I like the utter domination. I hate it when people root for their politicians like they're baseball teams and I've never understood why people choose their teams like they're politicians. It's professional sports and I don't feel bad for anyone making a million dollars a year to lose a hundred baseball games. I'd take that job. So I see no reason for sympathy for the teams the Yankees beat, I enjoy seeimg my team win.

boston i like the players like  josh beckett, dustin pedroia, jacob ellsbury, j.d. drew, and sean casey. they have a park built the same week as the titanic in 1918 it has a history to it

No serioussly though, the Yanks are a dynasty. A huge part of baseball history. This rivalry between the two teams are a gynormous part of baseball history. The Yankees have always been the hated club that everyone seems to love. The Red Sox have always been the underdog, like a little brother to the Yankees that can't seem to get the approval of the parents because of the older much more greater brother (the Yankees) up until recent years. The two teams HATE eachother but at the same time they RESPECT eachother as well too. Yankees rule!
