Red Tyke tipped t prevail in Sailun - tyregiant.com Handicap
Red Tyke has a solid chance of claiming the Sailun - tyregiant.com Handicap (Part of The Beverley Middle Distance Series) at Beverley in England on Wednesday, June 13, 2012. A cash prize of £2,588 has been set for the winner of the class-6 event.
Speed will not matter much in the race, as the overall distance to cover will be 1 mile, 4 furlongs and 16 yards. The action is scheduled to start at 16:30 GMT and following runners will battle out for victory: Red Tyke, Mr Snoozy, Ossie´s Dancer, Emperors
Waltz, Fleeting Fashion, Madam Lilibet, Eastern Seel, Oops Caroline, Astonished Harry, Bollin Nancy, Brasingaman Espee and Nickeys On Time.
Looking at the stamina of Red Tyke, it appears that he will walk away with a comfortable victory in the race. He does not have a lot of experience, but his performances in recent times have been decent, which will encourage the punters to place a lot of
bets in his favour.
The three-year-old gelding has participated in nine events so far, winning just one of them. He has also secured the third spot on the same number of times, which shows that he is quite capable of giving a tough time to his opponents.
There was only one time, where Red Tyke dropped out of the top 10 otherwise his performances have been quite consistent. However, he will need to put in some extra effort in order to take the top spot at Beverley.
The John Quinn’s trainee finished fifth in his most recent race, which shows that he is in nice rhythm. He will be partnered by experienced jockey, Michael O'Connell, who has enjoyed some success at this level, but has a poor strike rate. He is in good form
at the moment and will be looking forward to make a strong impact at Beverley today.
On the other hand, the bookies have given better odds to Mr Snoozy, who has never managed to win any race in his career. He has entered five events and the best he could manage was a runner up place once.
The three-year-old gelding will need a special effort in order to bring up his maiden victory at this level.
