  1. I think the red and white sounds nice.  My bfs sister is doing that as well.  I love the nighttime and candle idea as it make it more romantic.  I think you should have simple dresses like this...http://s7d4.scene7.com/ir/render/AlfredA...

and then have just a simple white belt/fabric strip going around the waist for the addition of a white colour.  I feel that by doing this, it will slim down the people in the dressed which is always good but will add the linkage between the two main wedding colours.  Hope this helps and congrats and good luck!!!

  2. Love it. My friend did it last year and it was really pretty. Red roses against a white gown and the bridesmaids in red dresses  carrying white and red flowers is so striking and elegant.

  3. I honestly don't like Red and White for a Summer Wedding its to 80's for me!

  4. I had a June red and white wedding.

Here are some pictures for ideas:

It wasn't like a candy cane at all! :D

  5. with your b.m dresses i would try and find something like a plain cherry red dress with a white sash to go around the waist

kinda like a dress like this but in the color your thinking

with a white sash around the waisy

  6. I just performed an outside red & white wedding, 7:30pm, Friday night (7/25).  The maid's dresses were a deeper red than what you've chosen but they were g-o-r-g-e-o-u-s.

To counter the red carpet, use an aisle runner; it'll break up the reds.

    Your color scheme is fine.
