Question:

Red bumps/ whiteheads after waxing?

I got my eyebrows waxed for the first time on Saturday, and ended up getting red bumps and whiteheads! I have generally clear skin, so this is a big deal for me. I thought it'd go away in a few days if I just put on Aloe Vera (I have the plant) and Cortizone, but it doesn't look like it'll be gone by THURSDAY- my first day of school!

Is there any fast method to get rid of these annoying things? I don't want to start my first day with a freaking red Batman sign on the tops of my eyebrows. I'm never waxing again!

  1. don't touch them, I don't know exactly but it sounds like the hair broke just under the skin where you waxed, and now it a bit red.  They'll go away, just don't expect a miracle cure, waxing has it's cons as well as pros, it's very easy for the hairs to break under the skin with waxing or plucking, even shaving too.

I'd say get some thick liquid makeup and powder makeup if you have to for the first day, get stuff that would last long and look natural.

  2. you most likely have ingrown hairs, and they will not go away until you remove the hair causing the problem.  If you pop the whiteheads, you should be able to remove the hair! Get some tweezers!!
