Red color bedroom?

Question

i want to decorate my room red so what color should i paint on the walls?

i m 19 and my sis will be sharing the room with me, she is 13...

so what would be a nice color

Well i wouldnt paint it red. cuz i hear thats suppose to stress you out lol. but maybe you could paint them white and do multi-colored polka dots :)

play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find colors that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. Orange and yellow gos well with red. A light yellow would be best.

orange and beige....thats how i have my room...each wall is colored orange and beige and the decorations i mixed it with red, and drk green...

tan or white.

why dont you pick a few of your fav colors and then from there choose which color would fit the best. i wouldnt paint it red though

im redoing my room as well adn if i had the choice id use pink and red BUT of ocurse my huby wont like it so i have to do a feminine but also masculine theme. so i chose the colors tan with red/burgandy.

what you can do is get a few ideas of what symbols you can add to your wall in the color red liek polka dots or strips or stars or any other shapes like that
