I have red accents in my room, as the walls in there are a gross blue(i'm renting)so, from a feng shui POV should I replace my yellow curtains with red? The window in my room is in the west, so I know from a feng shui POV they should be white, for children and creativity, no? I am a fire sign though, but lately there's been to much going on in my life as far as police run ins, etc. My curtains are already yellow, and I know that yellow is also a fire color, and all of the south areas in my home are fire activated. Help, please. Thanks again, and have a great, peaceful day!! P.S= I do want to attract love though.

  1. Maybe you have too much fire and this is causing an imbalance?  I'm a bit rusty on the Feng Shui thing so I'd probably be skewering things from my memory and getting them wrong and I don't want to steer you in the wrong direction, but maybe since blue is a water color and yellow is a fire color, maybe you should put in some metal or earth?  Grey would be nice with blue...

  2. From what you say, you are using the 8 aspiration system of Feng Shui. Blue is water element and yellow is actually earth element and not fire. Water and earth element are not really in harmony, so you should better use white curtains, as white corresponds to the metal element and metal and water are in a harmonious relation.

I would suggest you to first check if you are sleeping in one of your favorable directions. I also would use rather the 8 mansions and/or the Flying star system of Feng Shui, which are more accurate. You can find all information here and check your favorable directions with the calculator:
