Red dot on the white part of my eye? size of the end off a ball point pen? should i be concerned?

you've got subconjunctival hemorrhage, it's nothing much, it's when a blood vessel breaks and it usually clears up in 10-14 days, if not i suggest you see a doctor or something, it could be caused by just sneezing or coughing, my sister got a line of one by getting a pencil threw in her eye, she got a line not a dot

More than likely it's a broken blood vessel.  If you notice any more, if this doesn't go away in a reasonable length of time - say a week - or if it starts to bother you or change your vision then get to the eye doctor.

However, it will probably go away on it's own.

You probably got it from coughing or something getting in the eye..I think it's a blood vessel like the one described by the person above
