Red eared slider turtle bite?

my little cousin got bitten by his grown up turtle

i think it went through the skin

what should they do about it?

i know how it feels. they think its food. wash his finger with detol and wipe with tcp

1.) Wash his hand very good with soap and water.

2.) Clean the wound with Hydrogen Peroxide.

3.) Apply a Triple antibiotic ointment, such as Neosporin.

4.) Cover with a band-aid and keep clean until healed.

Repeat 1-4 daily, until healed.

Watch for redness.  Any cut/wound can become infected.  If the area gets red, or swelling begins, see a dr.

ouch...that must of hurt. I never knew that turtle can bite humans and get a cut. Try using medication stuff. I have one too :D . I hope my turtle wont bite me when they grow up... :S
