Question:

Red gums???

I have my first appointment to my orthodontist on Friday, for him to start with the whole braces procedure (what does he do for the first time?) and my dentist told me that I have a faint red line about my teeth due to not brushing well enough. He said that all I have to do is brush better and not worry if it bleeds, cause that just shows I'm doing it right... But I'm getting worried cause I've been brushing 2 or 3 times daily but the line is still there. (I bled a little bit too) My dentist said that the orthodontist will definitely not let me get braces till this line is gone. Is it possible for this line to go by friday? (10:35pm here =O) And if it doesn't completely go, is the appointment a waste of time or will he still do everything he needs to?
