Red highlights in dark brown hair?

Question

Ok, My hair IS Dark Brown like this:

And i'm getting red highlights.. Do you think there'll look ok in my hair, and if u can get a pic of it to that will be great

It washed out in 10 days and the hairdresser refused to admit she had done it wrong and refused to beleive that she had caused my hair to go ginger

It'll look fine, just don't get highlights that are a bright red make sure they are really dark.

i got that. that's what i'm doing well i was going to but i kind of can't dye it right about now . it's summer so i thought i'd get more highlights in the sun with all the outsidedness and all and when i get them they're red except when they're red hairs and it's like female baldness where my blond highlites happen to be but they're just thin i'm not quite balding. yeah before i dyed it a light brown so you'd notice the highlites even more and i was planning on dying it darker in the fall but it just won't happen. but yeah i think it'll look great.

I have dark brown hair... and i had red highlights in it... it looked AWESOME!!!

if you get a semi-permanent colour... make sure that you get them to bleach your hair before putting the red on... to give it a more vibrant look... and then when the red washes out u will have blonde! :)

I think they'd look great with your hair. My hair was your color but just a shade darker. My cousin did salon-worth highlights for me for free. She used L'oreal's Colour Ray's on me. Fushia. it turned out red. It look really pretty. Everyone told me that my hair looked great.

Its great on dark brown, especially since it's highlights it will look more natural than blond highlights.  In the sun it will make your hair super shinny.

I was looking over some brown hair red highlight pics and(just in my opinion) did not really find anything that I thought was kick *** but I was looking through other ones and saw this mix of highlights and it seems as fun as it gets. I think it would be awesome to try this out! Good Luck! And I am sure whatever you pick it will look great!

Get a deep intense mahogany red! That would look great in that colour hair. Use a red hair colour like this:

Yeah, I think it'll be ok! My cousin had blonde hair and got red highlights! It really didn't suit her but she's turned into a goth and is intending to die her hair brown and keep the highlights so it will look better. Are you a goth or something? It would suit a goth - I think. But don't get me wrong - I am not saying you are a goth and if your not - it won't look good. It's just that a lot of goths have that hairstyle! Anyway, I think it might suit you. It also depends on personality.
